December 2nd, 2003- Well good news everyone, I managed to get past show pics up on this site. Check them out. sadly enough though, I don't have pics from the Oct.4th show...I was lazy, no wait...I forgot the camera. Alright, well I hope everyone has a great day! keep watch for new additions and new things! take care! later *Christine C* November 24th,2003- The show on Nov. 21st turned out to be a great accomplishment for SL Punkshows. Over 80 people showed that night to support the bands. I want to thank everyone for comming and supporting the bands. We hope to see you soon...in December.
November 19th, 2003- Well there is a SHOW this friday here at the Getaway. You all should come. Monday Mourning, Abbott Hayes, A Summers Fall and VLC will be performing. It's expected to have a large turn out. On that note, I would like to announce my new help!! Justine S. and Alicia S. will be helping me from now on (yey!) Their screen names and contacts are on somewhere on here, dont' be shy, say something to them. Justine will be helping me alot with bands, and Alicia, more with the venues.

November 5th,2003- Hello to everyone! A new month marks new means for new show opertunities. December 13th, and January 16th, are still optimistic for bands. October 31st, 2003- Happy Halloween to all! Tomorrow marks the first day of November, (21 days and counting until the next show!) It also means that I have some more dates, at the first of everymonth, I'll try to come up with more dates, soon enough though, the shows will move from the Getaway and spread all over (cause I am good like that). Although there will still be shows at the Getaway, we are going to try and expand our horizons and move to other venues across upstate. So if you have a venue in mind, tell me about it, I'd love to hear. As for bands, our mission is to get out local and not so local bands into the show world, so once again, if you know a band, or have a band, don't hesitate to contact me. Soon enough, (I am working on it), there will be a "restricted area" designed for only Street-team members, Bands and Administrators will be able to view. if you would like to join the street-team, please email Christine C.( saranaclakepunkshows@hotmail.com subj: Street-team submission) your name, email, age,where you are from, how many shows you attend, your AIM,(yahoo,MSN,ICQ) or other instant messanger name, 1 paragraph (100 words or less) as to why you should be admitted to this eccentric team.
If you would just like information on the street-team, email Christine C. with the subject heading "Street-team info"
*Note: Street-team duties are as follows: handing out fliers, promoting shows in Saranac Lake and other surrounding venues, reporting about (infomation: date, cost, bands, opinnions) anyshows you attend, suggesting bands that you think would be interested in shows up here, or surrounding areas. (Perks are yet to be decided). You must be at least 13 yrs of age to submit a request for the street-team. An answer as to whether you are on the team or not will be realeased back to you within a 2 week time range.*
